‘Do not be too sad’ is a serial painting that explores the resigned sentiment of our time. The figures and abstract forms hint at the beginning of symbolism, but they end up not reaching the specific meaning as a symbol. In other words, the images are dead bodies of symbols. At the same time, they are a landscape of a dystopian future. They are non-symbolic symbols that portray the spirit of our time and potential future.
